Our team of experienced professionals demonstrates an unparalleled commitment to safety, which has been recognized with the following awards:

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) bestows this award upon companies that have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs, as well as achieved continuous improvements and maintenance of their safety and health management systems.

S&B USA won 2nd place in the over 1,000,000 man-hours category in 2016 and 1st place in the 700,001 – 1,000,000 man-hours category in 2014.

The Fay team working on the PA Chemicals Cracker Plant Construction project for Shell received multiple Contractor of the Quarter Safety Awards from the project owner. Over the course of the project, Fay had 1,682,441 hours worked and at a peak nearly 250 personnel employed at one time on site. 
Fay Southeast was awarded the 2021 VTCA Contractor Safety Award in the Less than 150,000 work hours category. VTCA encourages its members to implement and maintain programs providing a safe work environment for their employees as well as the general welfare of the public who travel through their work zones. Through the annual VTCA Transportation Contractor Safety Award Program, the Alliance recognizes its contractor members who successfully demonstrate their commitment to a safe and healthy working environment.

This award is bestowed upon companies that receive a perfect score in all six categories the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) uses to evaluate potential candidates. The six areas include:
  • Workers’ compensation experience rating
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) work-related injuries and illnesses
  • OSHA statistics violations
  • Roadway worker protection training
  • Safety program elements
  • Company vehicle accident score

Fay is proud to have been a recipient of this award over a series of five consecutive years.  

Each year, the Maryland AGC bestows various safety awards on companies who successfully uphold excellent safety standards and continue to commit to a company-wide safety culture. Fay recently won awards in the Zero Lost Time, Incident Rate 25% Below Peer Group and Annual Improvement 25% or Greater categories.
This award is one of Signal Mutual Indemnity Association’s most prestigious safety awards, and it requires three consecutive years of Signal Mutual membership, a claim frequency rate declining each year, no fatalities during the membership year, and reporting of Man-hours. Fay Southeast was a proud recipient of this award in 2020/2021 and 2019/2020.
The Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania (CAWP) recognizes accident-free supervisors and companies with outstanding safety records in the prior construction season. Fay and Fay employees continuously receive these awards year-after-year.
